Royal Crown Derby

Crown Derby was one of the earliest known English porcelain factories, the first factory being located in Nottingham Road, Derby in the 1740s. The existing factory at Osmaston Road was purpose built in 1875, and the Royal Crown Derby tradition of fine ceramics is continued today at the same location. The title 'Royal' was awarded by Queen Victoria in 1890 who was a regular customer.

The Royal Crown Derby range of figures, giftware, tableware and collectables is the result of 250 years of craftsmanship and traditional skills. Both functional and collectable, Royal Crown Derby pieces are brought together in classic and contemporary designs. The use of rich colours and hand-gilding with 22-carat gold ensures each piece is totally unique to the Royal Crown Derby family.
